Trucking... the best outcome for this is the fuel savings, drivers that run out of hours still leave their truck running to keep them warm/cool. Now with that being said, some trucks have alternative heating/cooling but still run off an engine, so 1 truck and trailer could use up to 3 fuel devices.

1 for reefer trailer engine
1 for truck engine
1 for sleeper cab engine

I've also seen a some discussion on smart way transport partner, the biggest take away here is that most fortune 500 and higher companies want you to be a smart way partner. This shows your a leading carrier in the industry, and that you have good equipment to reduce emissions and get the best fuel savings. The savings is good for the carrier, but its also good for the customer, because direct freight has a fuel surcharge(FSC) that gets passed on the customer, and the customer sets the MPG standard during the bid process. Keep in mind this device could also make a carrier money, for instance if a customer fuel surcharge(FSC) pays 6.0 MPG and the carrier actually gets 7.0 the carrier would benefit in savings on the bottom line.

IMO do your research...
