My guess is that they tried to up the bill and Anshu told them to shove off. They figured V was eager to pay and not hold up the k etc.
I work for a utility and see this happen all the time. The engineering firms lowball and get the jobs. They submit an inadequate product and then we have to pay extra to get the designs completed.

Anshu has too much integrity to permit this sleazy behavior.
