MYL boosts HCQ production for COVID-19 treatment:

Mylan expects to be in a position to begin supplying product by mid-April, and with the active pharmaceutical ingredient that we currently have available, will be able to ramp up manufacturing to provide 50 million tablets to potentially treat a total of more than 1.5 million patients.

It's unclear from the excerpt above exactly how long it will take MYL to produce 50M tablets, but I presume they're talking about weeks rather than months.

Note: HCQ may work as a treatment for COVID-19 infection, but there is no practical way it can be used to prevent infection.
