The drugs mentioned in the press conference addressed the use of those drugs as a therapeutic approach to treat those afflicted. As the President said as well as the CDC person. Those drugs will be tried not a a cure,,but as a treatment and the data seen may or could aid in the development of a vaccine. The Vaccine is the cure or either can prevent contraction of the virus again by creating an immunity. The vaccine research will go on regardless of what in going on in the therapeutic spectrum.
