One other point:
THE CURRENT US FDA FILING IS FOR A PRE-IND MEETING
"PRE" meaning it's highly recommended BEFORE an actual filing to start a clinical trial. The Pre-IND meeting lays the groundwork to move forward - FDA and Alagernon on the same page. It eliminates hangups during the clinical trial. Therefore, making the process faster, not slower. My best guess is the US FDA clinical trial is still a go. It simply takes time. FDA has 30 days to respnd to Algernon's filing. We received word of the filing on March 13th, 2020. That was SIX DAYS AGO! Meaning, the FDA still has 24 days to respond to the filing.
