I’m in the UK and shops are beginning to shut down until further notice. A huge department store I go into all the time called Selfridges, the doorman told me they were closing early at 7pm tonight until further notice.

This store has 3000+ members of staff and 23 acres of floor space. It’s the largest department store on London’s Oxford Street.

That’s how big a deal this is. I’ve never known shops and businesses to close down because of a health alert. But everyone is staying at home now anyway! Half the stores on the way to this place were already closed today anyway!
