Covid19 - DIGAF Update:March 18, 2020

To our clients, shareholders and colleagues:

Like the rest of the world, we have been actively monitoring COVID-19 developments, and we have been proactively taking measures to minimize its potential impact on our team members, our clients, our families, and our community.

This includes eliminating all travel, reminding everyone within our office of our stringent health and safety guidelines, and encouraging everyone to eliminate physical contact and maintain safe social distances. We have also temporarily suspended in-person meetings and gatherings, consistent with health authority guidelines.

As a largely paperless office & business, we are well equipped to continue operations should COVID-19 affect team members, with remote work policies and technologies in place, the ability to hold meetings and conferences virtually, and the ability to deliver and file compliance and financial statements, tax returns, and other obligations to maintain report status with the SEC and BCSC.

We can also obtain signatures electronically, and receive information electronically (please contact your engagement partner if you wish to set up a secure shared folder to send information). These are all particularly important because as of this date, there has been no extension of any financial reporting or tax filing or remittance deadlines by Canadian federal or provincial tax authorities and by US Federal authorities.

We are mindful of the risks posed by COVID-19, and we have taken steps to minimize and manage those risks. We also remain committed to maintaining our high service standards and meeting our business associates needs and deadlines.

These are uncertain times, and things continue to rapidly evolve. We will continue to monitor and adapt, and we hope that you and your family remain safe and healthy.
