Yes, strange that whoever sold was waiting for their 3% dividend and then sold for a 10% to 20% loss...depending what they originally paid for their preferred.
Strange math, but I suppose it was probably part of a "when you can't sell what you want to, you sell what you can" strategy....maybe a margin call on some other stock in their portfolio, or maybe just the general panic setting in for many.
Interesting and unpredictable times we are living in lead to interesting buying and selling of stocks.

Sadly I feel the ride might not be over yet for a while, but there will come a time to wade back into the waters and perhaps it is time now to start nibbling?

In any event as mentioned often...being in the healthcare business, Avid should be a beneficiary of this Pandemic...we produce what others "need"....not what others "want".

I am hoping that the open market buying by the directors was a signal that things are back on track at Avid and that buying here could be quite rewarding down the road??!!
