Of course sophisticated investors understand that when shares are held in street name the company has no way of knowing the size of individual positions. That's one of the reasons filing is so important. Of course maybe the largest investor in a company would hold the shares in his/her own name. But then that would rule out the whole naked shorting story. hmmmm, seems like quite the dilemma.


And sorry, but it's obvious such a phone call with that type of advice being given by etrade never happened. Or was it secretly recorded and transcribed? lol. Not bloody likely because it never happened.
