A company I am watching has recently requested more authorized shares. From 50M to 150M. I believe the issued shares stand at 45.5M.

Can anyone make some comments regarding a situation like this?

I assume that this could imply a number of things and would appreciate anyones input. The company is an OTCBB and has been around for about 10 years.
