If they gave that much credence

To an untested compound how can they possibly say no to a drug that is already clinically evaluated, especially given the circumstances?The worst outcome would be no help or known side effects being unacceptably high. As a last thought, I cannot imagine them beginning to ramp up production and spending the considerable sum it took to put together a comprehensive filing without having a pretty good idea it would pay off.
