I don't know how many posts you read here from people who where certain on the positive outcome, but can it be that the one on the receiving end had little eye for the footnotes?
I don't refer to myself as a pundit and had moments when I was in doubt, moments when I thought to see something positive in the "facts" that where know until then. But I never was convinced that what I thought was the only possible outcome. And I always made sure that somehow I held a reserve.
Even though I knew things could go wrong, I held my position because for me it was a gamble worth the loss.
Everybody on this board IMO had the same opportunity in making their own decisions, and there where enough people telling them about the risk. So I think that those who went blind for the positive outcome and invested more then they wanted to lose can only blame themselves for being in the wrong stock.
