I doubt a domestic travel ban! 9/11/2001 was a true domestic travel ban that lasted for months. I know because I was in the rental car business.

Once we have a few hundred thousand test results, the plan will be to isolate the old people like me and the rest of the world will move on.
As for international trade, 9/11 changed the way we do business forever. Face to face is no longer considered mandatory. After 9/11 we began the electronic age of business and it reins supreme today.

Business travel for years has declined. Only when glad handing before signing a big deal is travel in order.

So the markets will flip up and down as the computers desire. Disconnect the computer generated trades and the market would level off.
