Dividends , The Wheel --Cash secured Puts and Covered Call writting

This crash is providing a test of my long-held thesis that ultra high distribution stocks should be avoided because they underperform in tough times. So far all that I've looked at are doing atrociously... CLM, mREITS, BDCs. Worst group by a mile has been the MLPs. Some retirees have much of their savings in gimmicky stuff like that.

OTOH, blue chips have been less than impressive. My BRK is off 7% today. Berkshire's barely beaten the broad market despite all its cash.
