It’s been said on this board that placing a GTC order for all your shares at a high price ($50+) puts pressure on the shorts by effectively removing those shares from the market. However, if the crooked shorts are trading air shares then setting these GTCs will not have any effect on the actual float of the stock? What a crooked sham.
