One thing coming from nurses working in Italy is that for home care, if hospitals are not an option - Huge doses of Vitamin C (China and Taiwan administered C through IV and apparently had good success) and CBD oil.
One of the main causes if severe illness appears to be the virus triggers a 'cytokine storm' (also why some virologists draw comparisons to HIV). In it, your immune system has an inflammation reaction that essentially causes your immune system to attack your own organs etc.

CBD has been found to aid in these situations (though for milder issues)
"Cannabinoids are potent anti-inflammatory agents and they exert their effects through induction of apoptosis, inhibition of cell proliferation, suppression of cytokine production"
These are preliminary studies and much is unknown.
