There is a shortage of flower in Illinois and across the country, because in most states, cultivation is monitored and controlled by state law. States do not want a glut of supply to drive down costs and kill the market. So why are they selling other products like vape pens, gummmies and chocolates? There is a market for it. One of the largest consumers of medical cannabis are people over the age of 50. Many of these people want options and may prefer vaping or edibles to shatter and waxes.
