Different institutions give bids for funds @ particular rate and fed accept what they feel like is reasonable or how much liquidity they want to add. Daily infusion has very little to do with market prop. Near holidays they always add cash for daily transactions in banks and other institutions. Amount that matter for stocks is abnormal high infusion when they accept higher potions of bids or repos for longer durations, which is usually seen near treasury auctions. JMHOP.
