Kroger’s guidance specifically excludes coronavirus effects.

It’s the delivery services that are seeing a surge in demand. Analysts are worried about Kroger for that very reason. This just helps accelerate the trend that will be slicing huge chunks out of SGRPs business over the longer term.

In the short term people will start having stuff delivered from amazon rather than go out. There are news reports of this as well.

The stock ups were a short term thing ahead of a storm. Nobody goes out in the middle of a storm which is where we might soon be. I’m pretty comfortable that the grocery stores in Milan are not currently packed.

In short It’s hard to identify a company set to be more devastated by intermediate and long term trends than SGRP.

This is my last comment on this. Others can decide for themselves and neither of us are changing our minds.
