NO! The one thing the site Gryfus posted does not address is when the company says the dividend "will not be quoted ex" - which is our situation. In that case, according to stock broker responses to the question, DTC response to the question and the CEO OF THE COMPANY'S response to the question, you cannot get the dividend if you were not a holder of record (owner of the stock on 12/1/06).

The continued debate on this is baffling to me. This week, we saw selling and MM manipulation to the point where the pps fell back below a penny. So trying to prevent selling or encourage buying by maintaining the belief that the ex-date is after the 15th seems unnecessary to keep the price from falling - it already has. So perhaps the real reason for the continued debate has nothing at all to do with the stock....
