I know , I'm sure there were lots of scenarios or carve outs we will never know about. Real life SCUMBAGS. Get paid to find ways to screw us over so they can get paid again. Move the drug forward ? Why hurry that?
I do believe there was more going on with these loans after the merger idea fell through.(although kirkland says he doesn't recall much) Some other idea to split funds with Discover some how was going on and someone waited too long, got cold feet or thought they were getting the short end.

Kirkland said he made money on the first older loans (wouldn't say how much) I'm sure they aren't in the hole much all loans together. (HOUSES MONEY)
