Good I am for locking up all criminals and those who abusively naked short are in fact criminals according to the former Chairman of the SEC. Slap on the wrist for these criminals don't cut it. Jail sentences would certainly make a difference just as it would have in the financial crisis. Imagine GS putting together packages and selling them to their own investors mortgages that they knew would fail and all they got were slap on the wrist fines.
