...the only effective solution is "treatment". As a general rule we know inoculation is only partially effective in preventing contracting viruses.

Treating and curing the virus once infected, by killing it off and treating and eliminating the lethal effects, (especially the lower lobes of the lungs which get choked off), is the key to saving lives. That is the bottom line.

IMHO that is the true value of IPIX's B.

Meanwhile the U.S. with its robust and mobile population appears to be "managing" the threat supremely better than other countries. But it is a matter of time before the even we will not be able to hold back the dam.

I visited my mother for dinner last night at her "independent/assisted" living facility/complex last night. I was surprised they are continuing to let guests in without checking them.

One infected person walking into to the facility with 700 fragile Octogenarians, Nonagenarians and Centenarians would be a wipeout of the entire population there within 30 days. The old Obamacare proposed Death Panel's dream!

The race is on for vaccine...but IMHO...more importantly "effective" lifesaving "treatment" and IPIX's B has two runners with numbers in the race. They just need to get over the finish line, not first.
