It has been done before and by Andy Heyward prior to his buying DIC

Thus DiC productions came with built in advertisers and some time financiers.[5] Between Inspector Gadget and The Littles (the latter produced for ABC), the company became profitable"


It is a dry lonely expensive desert until one of these companies gets a couple hits, then the game switches gears. SK in my personal opinion it goes into over drive and never looks back.

When Youku president read an article and contacted Mr. Heyward not the other way around the entire landscape changed for me.
