I invest and also day-trade. I have been watching level II on this one for a little over a year. I even wrote the company and let them know of my dismay that a single market-maker can manipulate the price of the stock. They did not answer me in writing but wanted me to call them. I told them that I would just watch what VALX did and then buy a bit more each time they run it down. They are indeed the MM that completely controls/manipulates the stock price. They let it run up above the moving averages for a few days, then they force it back down below. Anyhow - it is definitely THEM. My best to you.
