I don't think AS will even initiate the phase 3 after the oral phase 1 result we received. I think they will wait and see how the pill works in a phase 2. The rectum can be targeted with a pill just as easily as the colon. Due to the safety and lack of absorption, IPIX can probably crank the pill dosage up and treat the entire tract with no side effects.
