That’s normal for a BK sale. It has to go through auction to the highest bidder. That is actually what you want for a BK sale. I’ve seen stalking horse bids where there were no other bidders so assets sold for whatever the initial baseline offer price was. Often times it is sold as a credit bid which means no money for commons.
