Found something else out, I am not sure if it was here ot not, but, someone had asked me or just in general, just what did China Youku have to do with Superhero Kindergarten and in a way it isn't a for sure to go to China, but I think from this article a couple of months ago it is going and they have been evidently involved before they even announced it with development of the show, and even with the development of a Chinese character? Who is a protagonist, I wasn't aware of this, evidently is from interviews in China.

Youjku evidently is going to go a slightly different route in bringing shows to China rather than just buying the IP/rights they are going to try and do joint development and Superhero Kindergarten was kind of a no brainer for them as Governator is pretty popular there as I can attest too living in Asia he is very popular.

But any rate, yeah a Chinese character and they were in the game pretty much from the jump. Likng that.

"As for the cooperation with children's media group Genius, through "Stan Lee's Superhero Kindergarten", Youku bid farewell to the role of pure copyright purchase in the past, and upgraded to a joint IP owner and global co-producer.

"Stan Lee's Superhero Kindergarten" is the last work of Stan Lee's life. Part of the series is inspired by the role of Schwarzenegger in the 1990 comedy "Kindergarten Detective", the superhero in the cartoon The teacher "Captain Courage" took Arnold as the image prototype. Written by Fabian Nicieza, the co-creator of Deadpool, this work can be described as the top class.

Liao Huainan said that "Stan Lee's Superhero Kindergarten" is not completely "introduced". We will participate in the development of a very core level of absolute head content overseas, which has never been done before.

According to reports, Youku was deeply involved in the planning and development of "Stan Lee's Superhero Kindergarten". For example, in the character image and plot design, "Stan Lee's Superhero Kindergarten" combined with Youku's suggestions and joined Orient elements, and set a protagonist to come from China.

Not only that, from the perspective of Liao Huainan, if an international IP development wants to land in China and be accepted by Chinese audiences, Youku's early involvement is very important.

Taking "Stan Lee's Superhero Kindergarten" as an example, not only did you add an oriental character, Youku found that there was a big difference between China and foreign countries in the kindergarten model when the script was first obtained, and the teaching system was also different. To this end, Youku seeks a balance between the two differences, and adjusts the kindergarten scenes, living patterns, and teaching settings.

That explains a lot, now I get the "7 figure investment" there was no set amount and Youku is really really involved more than likely eating a big slice $ of development pie not voice over cover art for Chinese title, their involvement in licensing products their for their market and selling the show in Asia and the series in general runs deep IMHO.

Peace out.
