The fear with this is that there’s no vaccination yet, like we have for the flu. They don’t know much about the coronavirus and it’s spreading really fast. The death rate for the coronavirus is way higher than the flu percentage wise.

The market is freaking out because of anticipated shortages of raw materials and supply chain disruptions from China, which will impact company sales, profits, etc. I don’t think people are selling because they’re scared of the virus itself.
