shinook, thanks for the analysis and discussion. One thing concerning Dollar General - the PR says, "...our first national retail customer...is one of the 25 largest retailers in the world."

Now, of course, it depends on who is doing the rankings and how they rank them, but from my (admittedly non-exhaustive) review of listings of the worlds largest retailers, DG has not cracked anyone's top 25.

Perhaps you could try your analysis again, limiting it to the US national retailers who appear in a world top 25 ranking.
