A trusted Long on this board PMed me and asked me what my opinion was on what delivery mechanism would be used if Brilacidin was chosen to treat symptoms associated with the coronavirus. My guess is that if B is used to minimize coronavirus symptoms that a pill would be the preferred delivery method. If the BDD technology is used for this then BDD could tweak their technology to deliver the payload to wherever it would be best utilized in the digestive tract. IMO serious cases of coronavirus could potentially require an IV to get a stronger dose or perhaps an initial dose directly to the bloodstream. All the above is a guess on my part and is above my pay grade but the point is that IPIX has multiple proven delivery mechanisms for Brilacidin. If the coronavirus continues to spread to pandemic status and IF Brilacidin is found to minimize the symptoms allowing the individual's immune system to fight the virus, I could see widespread use of Brilacidin as a preventative measure. IF that were to happen hold on to you hat as this could be a crazy ride for IPIX investors. There are other posters on this board with a higher science IQ that may have an opinion on this. IPIX has continued to remind investors that their core focus is to advance B-OM and B-IBD to market through partnerships. I view any coronavirus activity as a positive exposure to new investors and confirmation to potential BP partners that Brilacidin has great potential across many instances and markets as a franchise drug. It is very possible though that government funding and grants could advance Brilacidin into a whole new market that was not on our radar until last week.
