Of course MTA's don't always end with further negotiations. The CTIX/IPIX MTA that I linked didn't end with one....at least none was revealed. In fact that was secondary to the main point, which was that there has already been a great deal of research done into Brilacidin, some of which was a result of that 2014 MTA.

In September of 2015 a CTIX press release said:
"Separately, Cellceutix is pleased to provide and update on the Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) disclosed in November 2014 with a division of one of the largest U.S. pharmaceutical companies (the "Pharma") for testing Brilacidin as a component of certain implanted devices as a means to prevent infection." Cellceutix has been advised that initial testing is encouraging. The Pharma has requested an extension to the MTA with an additional order to conduct further analysis of Brilacidin for this prophylactic application."

MTAs are good things in that they extend the existing knowledge base regarding the material involved.

"The alternative is to not have one at all." Sometimes it's just as well. It would be nice to have an MTA that actually led somewhere.

But can it core A apple?
Yes Ralph, of course it can core A apple.
