Well the stories about trump changing his tune were put out by the Chicago Tribune. And then other stories followed from here.

There is a link on this forum somewhere back. And I think this was picked up in a few articles as well. That their is a rider on a senate bill that would allow CBD to be treated as a "supplement" and would fall outside of the FDA for testing/approval/usage. This I believe will pass in short order and allow for Biosteel to launch in the US w/CBD infused products.

By federal decree I am leaning more on the fact that trump will do nothing to stop the bill rider and that allowing CBD to be marketed as a supplement will allow for products to hit the market faster. Everything trump has ever said relates back to "THIS IS A STATE ISSUE." and I do not see him sticking his neck out in an election year. "IF" trump wins reelection I think this would be the only time he addresses tough issues.

With Mexico having its hand forced by the end of April. I think we see MX come into the fold as a permissive country. And the US will not be able to fight against the CAN and MX policy sandwich. This will lead to nation wide medical program. As law enforcement professionals are being neutered in there ability to prosecute cannabis due to the proliferation of "CBD buds" which for all intensive purposes look the same.

The tide has started to come in. Any party that puts cannabis in the negative cross hairs will see a material drop in support. and that support will move to the opposition.

I see the US moving forward slowly with medical and CBD. and then the flood gates are open. And we will need liberal leadership to push it into a legal status.
