"Aphria forecast revenues of C$600 million in FY20, near C$50 million boost per quarter for the 2H of the year. The big forecast includes adjusted EBITDA in the C$40 million range."
BOING BOING! Now that's what gets my investment motor running at red line.
I have come to view weed just like a food commodity. Do corn farmers get rich? No, food processing companies get rich. Let's say a farmer gets .10 cents for an ear of corn. He/she makes enough to stay in business and have a nice life.
Food processing companies on the other hand take the .10 cent ear of corn and turn it into a bag of corn chips that they sell for $3.00 a bag. All of the higher level employees get filthy rich during their career and work a lot less than the farmer. The farmers whole life and net worth is tied up in that farm. The rich employees never have to risk anything.
Irwin is processing a weed, literally, that anyone could grow, (and millions do) and he is creating edibles that sell for nice profits.
