LAMBSHIFT, are you or are you not familiar with the notion of self-dealing and the appearance of economic substance between related parties? Accounting rules have an entire section of code on how entities must disclose when they engage in less than arm's length transaction that might mislead investors into believing there is real value there when nothing could be further from the truth. And this is even more a matter of importance when those "parties" turn out to be themselves.


If I am off base, then show me a balance sheet from any of these lumb business that has a line item called "cash and cash equivalents". You can't.

Should be case closed but alas the arguments will rage that these entities are real companies engage in the pursuit of profits to the benefit of its shareholders.

Please read this...while written to be funny it is also dead nuts on true.
