The average life span of an outdoor cat is about 3 years. I don't know if Dreamsicle and Pumpkin cross over N. Davidson Street in the nighttime hours to hunt and prowl and then return when the traffic picks up later in the morning when it's still dark and the glare from car head lamps confuse them. If they do, they will eventually be hit.
