If anyone on the board negotiates with management, I would suggest the following.

Sometime in April or May, the company reports audited results for 2019 and unaudited results for first quarter of 2020. In addition, they announce their annual dividend at that time.

This way they have a consistent plan of how they handle reporting and distributions, year in and year out. There will be more transparency and no guesswork in terms of when things happen. With the first quarter already behind them, future looking statements will make some sense.

And so be it if the company pays distributions six month sooner than they had planned on the next report in April or May. Any negotiators out there?
