February 20--Another dreary day. No rain, though. But wind from the north at a steady 10 mph. I went to Food Lion the morning chill. It wasn't that bad. Today was renew my driver's license day. I decided to go early. I walked to the Parkwood train station. Most the line has apartments on either side. I doubt the oldest ones aren't even 10 years old. This is how much the city has grown. I got off at the Arrowood station to pick up the 56. But I didn't know which direction to go. So I asked. It was only at the top of the hill so I hoofed it. The clerk told me I was an hour early for my 2p appointment. So I wandered into Family Dollar, noticed the kitty food wasn't any cheaper than Food Lion, so I walked over to Pop Eye's for a chicken sandwich. The PA plays Cajun music, Dixieland, Zydeco. Such a rich musical heritage that state has. The renewal only took 10 minutes. This time I took the bus to the station, and discovered the stop was actually right there at the station, so my trek wasn't needed. I came home shortly before 4 and rested on the bed to stabilize. Thursday it will rain, with the rain maybe changing to snow and ice in the early morning hours on Friday. This city shuts down when it happens.

Will I make it to Renfrow Hardware on Friday. Or should I wait until Monday? It's just the winter time blues.
