Mergers occur when two companies join to become one company, like Chrysler-Plymouth back in the day. An acquisition is when one company is dissolved and the second company remains. A reverse merger is a type of acquisition because only one company will remain since shells don’t have assets (besides stock) or operations. As the SPOM PR stated, SPOM officers will step down and be replaced with Gerpang officers. Gerpang’s assets will go into the shell. Therefore, the company remaining will be Gerpang. It’s easy enough to Google.
