AUGUST 2006: Cemex has hired Sinoma subsidiary China National Building Materials Group to build its new cement and slag grinding facility in Dubai. The contract, worth an estimate AED 185 million (US$50.37 million) will see the plant, including cement storage and delivery facilities, built in the Jebel Ali free zone. Commissioning is expected in mid-2007.
