Depends on how you look at it. You could say that a buy is when someone buys from someone who sells, and a sell is when someone sells to someone who buys. But all trades are both a buy and a sell. Classifying a trade that goes through on the bid as a sell has some value, but it should never be mistaken for a sell only. All trades require both a seller and a buyer.
