Sleek,

If impeachment hearings (throw in Supreme Court Hearings too) never happened, where do you think CBD issues would be today? What do you think we would know about VATE that we don't know now?

Without impeachment hearings, I think Mitch would have already filed Senate legislation by now — Hemp Banking, CBD Legalization, and improvements to USDA Regs are the 3 most likely issues he will address

The only area where he may still be waiting for information is on the FDA’s progress on developing a formal policy of Enforcement Discretion for CBD Products — an FDA report on this issue is due to be sent to Congress next week on February 20th

Wondering if CBD/Hemp issues getting government clarity automatically helps VATE and if you feel VATE is ready to roll once clarity happens. Thanks

Any kind of clarity on CBD will bring the next big wave of new investors into the sector, along with a return of older investors

VATE has 3 different product lines — CBD Iced Tea, CBD Iced Coffee and Hemp Coffee:

The newly designed CBD Iced Tea and CBD Iced Coffee lines look very mass market — no cannabis leaf, family-friendly logo design, the correct CBD formulation and dose (CBD Isolate 10 mg), safety and transparency via QR codes on bottles linking to 3rd party laboratory results — these products can now be carried by stores in those states which have legalized CBD Foods and Beverages — Florida and Texas are prime states for these products and California is expected to legalize CBD Foods and Beverages in March — so even as we wait for federal legalization, the market opportunity is still enormous

The 1st Publix in Florida recently received their license to carry CBD Foods and Beverages:

Shopping will be more of a pleasure for some Publix customers now that at least one store has the now-required Hemp Food Establishment license from the state to sell hemp and CBD edibles.

That’s the Miami Beach Publix in the Sunset Harbour area of South Beach, 1920 West Ave.

VATE’s newly designed Hemp Coffee line doesn’t contain any CBD — Hemp Protein Powder is the active Hemp ingredient and has been certified GRAS by the FDA — these bags of hemp coffee can now be carried in any store in America — the old logo design with the cannabis leaf was not suitable for many stores, including large chains — these products may very well be the first ones to sign contracts with retail chains, which would pave the way for CBD Iced Tea and CBD Iced Coffee to be carried by these same chains when they are ready to do so

Elev8 Hemp is the preeminent publicly traded Hemp & CBD Coffee brand in America — the recent award they received from IAB as being a Top 50 Disruptive Brand is an objective sign of their legitimacy:

As for being ready to roll, only Medico knows for sure and he has been very tight lipped — there are a number of plausible reasons for this, including the possibility of being involved in negotiations — he may have already secured some big contracts, like it appears KGKG has done with Southeastern Grocers, and is waiting for permission to announce

The timing of the upcoming S-1 filing is a very good sign — this type of transparency is often required by bigger players
