The coronavirus has a low fatality rate, about 2% and most deaths are the elderly and infirm. I don't think it will become a serious problem here in the US. Even in China I think it will peak within a few weeks and then taper down .... at least I hope so. But certainly it will have economic impacts felt mostly in China but also worldwide. The plunge in crude oil prices is just one example.
