It does matter why a company does a RS. When it done so you can just issues tons of shares, I agree with you.

However if it's done for a reverse merger , it depends on what the private company brings to the table in the newly formed public company. Which is why I asked what the name of the new entity is?

It depends why they are doing a RS. It isnt for selling shares on the open market as they can do that right now 855M as of yesterday.

A RS now will reduce the outstanding shares to 2,900,000 shares pal, with 1B still authorized. 855M versus 997M why, makes no sense if it's just a share issue scheme? Do you see my point?

I'll definitely wait to see what developes!
