I don't think that was a price target or a prediction. Look at the price action for that day. That statement was made to help out someone with a short play and or to get someone in cheap. VFF at $9.00 was cheap at that time. They had no way of knowing that the whole sector could not run a successful business and that the price of VFF would be dragged down with it. You could have made that statement about Tilray or some of the others but, I don't think you make that statement about a company that has been a successful grower with distribution channels. VFF had a lot of things already in place while the others started for scratch. VFF was late to the party but, let's see how it shakes out. The $1 price target was an effort to scare you out of your shares. I don't think Beacon is going to lose a nickel on this deal and neither will the longs here if there is a demand for marijuana/hemp and the related products.
