Wow! Closed the week over $800...that is encouraging.

Truth is there are so many routes that TPL could go.
For example, it could buy out a resource company with a low PE for
TPL stock, and use TPL cash to eliminate any debt from such a company.

TPL could also simply pay out cash dividends and/or buy back stock.

TPL may want to purchase metals mineral royalty streams.

If I were the great dictator of TPL (the Grand Master Trustee of
all mere co-chairman trustees.) I would elect to remain debt free
and would engage in acquisitions which would have low PE's, pay down
their debt quickly, and end up with a larger company, with higher
future per share earnings, ans remain free of debt. Should the
share price trade at too low of a PE I would use cash flow to
buy back shares...if too high, I would acquire (carefully and
selectively) new low PE companies (if available.)
