There is no such thing as a "Chapter 7 shell"! Chapter 7 is automatic liquidation and the equity has no value post-liquidation. That equity is worthless and is not a shell.

That is the LAW. Claiming equity in a Chapter 7 liquidated company has any value of any kind is absolutely flat-out incorrect.

Anyone holding such shares will lose 100% of their investment when the shares are cancelled.
