Call me a cynic, but I don't have enough faith in the broader public to understand the nuance. The advantage the presence of the virus brings PCTL is a potential increase in marketability based on the fact that hospitals will be pressured to at least look like they can effectively deal with the problems in order to stay competitive. Perception is reality. PCTL can advertise on the basis of being able to help combat the Wu-Flu and before too long the everyman will be hitting up their local hospitals asking about it. Mistake to pass up an opportunity to profit from the chaos.
