This is the FALSE narrative promoted by Corker et al to justify their DEATH GRIP. The only socialized losses that ever occurred with the GSE's were those implemented through FRAUDULENT accounting means by FHFA to place the GSE's in 'conservatorship'. Treasury/Federal Reserve actions to acquire F&F businesses still alive and well today!
