Yes - American Funds CIO is the smart one.


They are accumulating equity and preferred in probably one of the best assets in the world. The question is what its capital structure will be but it is probably a very very good investment if and when the US Government settles and cashes out. The portfolio and fee income is backed homes and homeowners all across the largest and most successful economy in the history of the world. Just give a reasonable dividend and I am never selling.
